1. Sort what you need to store
Make a short list in three groups: clothing that needs to hang, everyday items you reach for often, and things you prefer to keep out of sight. Note the quantity and approximate dimensions of bulky items such as bins, bedding and luggage. This tells you whether you need hanging space, open shelves, drawers or an enclosed compartment.
2. Choose the storage layout
- Hanging clothes and mixed storage: M1 Modular Storage combines a wardrobe section, drawers and an accessible surface. Check its internal arrangement against what you need to hang or fold.
- Mostly display and everyday access: M2 Modular Storage is open shelving. Use it for items you want visible or keep smaller things organized in baskets.
- Open shelves plus drawers: M3 Modular Storage gives display space above concealed drawer storage.
- Shelves, drawers and an upper compartment: M4 Modular Storage combines all three. Confirm that you can comfortably reach and open each compartment in your room.
- Shelves with upper concealed storage: M5 Modular Storage pairs open shelving with a top-opening compartment, without a wardrobe section.

3. Plan a wall bed and storage together
If storage sits beside a wall bed, measure the entire composition rather than each unit separately. Check clear wall width, ceiling height, doors, switches and the bed's open footprint. Match the selected finishes, then confirm which storage units are included in your order. Units shown around a wall bed in product images may be sold separately.
There are also upper storage options for compatible wall beds: U1 combines enclosed compartments and open shelving, U2 is enclosed, and U3 is open shelving. Compatibility and installation depend on the wall bed and room; confirm the exact combination with DUO before ordering.
4. Check access and installation
Draw the front of each cabinet on a floor plan and make sure drawers, doors and top-opening compartments have room to operate. Measure the path for delivery into the room. Check the current product and installation information for any required wall anchoring, and discuss unusual wall conditions with the team.
